Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard 

Job Description  

Dinasty Security Services is hiring a professional, disciplined, and dependable Unarmed Security Guard for a construction site assignment in Inglewood, CA. This position requires a guard who takes the role seriously, remains alert, communicates well, follows instructions, and operates with integrity, urgency, and professionalism at all times. 

This is not a casual post. The ideal candidate must be punctual, presentable, respectful, self-aware, and able to perform in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining strong observe-and-report standards.

Uniforms Provided 

Dinasty Security will provide the following uniform items: 

• Long sleeve or short sleeve uniform shirt

• Windbreaker

• Pants

• Company hat

Required Equipment 

The following equipment must be obtained within the first month of employment: 

• Duty belt

• Handcuffs with holder

• Flashlight with holder

• Security badge

• Tactical boots

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

• Perform active patrols on foot and/or by golf cart as assigned

• Monitor the project perimeter and designated work areas for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, theft, trespassing, or safety concerns

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the shift

• Check gates, access points, office trailers, tool containers, and other designated areas to ensure they are secure

• Notify client management and Dinasty management immediately of any breach, incident, safety issue, or suspicious activity

• Prepare and submit a complete daily report for each shift

• Observe, document, and report all incidents accurately and promptly

• Use local camera access, when provided, as part of site monitoring responsibilities

• Increase patrol activity during event days or as directed by management

• Follow all site-specific post orders, reporting procedures, and client instructions

• Maintain professional communication with supervisors, management, and client representatives

• Protect the site through a strong observe and report presence

• Provide professional customer service and respectful communication at all times

Site Conduct and Performance Standards 

• Must maintain punctuality and reliable attendance

• Must remain alert and engaged for the full shift

• Must report all incidents, injuries, hazards, and security concerns immediately

• Must behave professionally and respectfully with all workers, visitors, vendors, and client representatives

• No threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive behavior will be tolerated

• No personal music headphones, earbuds, or similar devices may be used while on duty

• Photos or videos taken on site may only be used for work purposes and may not be shared or posted

• Must attend required site safety meetings and toolbox talks

• Must follow all construction-site safety rules and procedures at all times

• Must maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance and work presence

Skills and Qualifications 

• Strong communication skills

• Punctual, reliable, and respectful

• Strong customer service skills

• Able to follow post orders and instructions closely

• Able to write clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity reports

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

• Pepper spray permit preferred or willingness to obtain if required by company assignment

Requirements 

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must pass a pre-employment background check

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

• Must be able to lift approximately 15–20 lbs.

• Must hold a valid California Guard Card

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior security experience preferred

• Construction site security experience is a plus

• Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Must be dependable with schedule changes based on project needs

• Must be willing to comply with all client and site-specific requirements

Required for This Assignment 

• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 are required for this post

• Applicants must already hold these certifications or be willing and able to complete both courses within the timeframe required by the company and client

• Assignment to this project is contingent on meeting all required training and certification standards
