Schedule : Full Time 40 hours per week Varying hours Monday - Friday some weekends required longer shifts possible based on business needs. Department: Huron Valley PACE Ypsilanti MI Home Care
Travel Requirements: This role involves regular travel between Washtenaw Monroe Western Wayne Livingston and parts of Oakland counties providing Home-Based Care.

What Youll Do in This Role:
Are you a compassionate caregiver with a heart for helping others As a Home Care Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) providing in-home care youll play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship your work will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care in Their Home Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing grooming dressing and toileting.
• Maintain Comfort & Care Support housekeeping tasks such as laundry sweeping and grocery shopping.
• Support Mealtime Help participants enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Keep Things Moving Support mobility including turning positioning and safe transfers.
• Perform Vital Checks Measure and record vital signs weight and intake/output.
• Maintain Comfort & Care Keep rooms tidy cozy and well-stocked with essentials.
• Provide Responsive Support Respond with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be certified as a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Michigan.
• Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
• Flexibility to provide coverage in the evening and on weekends.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly.
• CPR certification is desired or obtained within 3 months of employment.
