Urban Route Delivery Driver (Non‑CDL, Class C)

Location: Round Lake, NY | Company: Dexter

It’s 7:00 a.m. in Round Lake, NY. You’ve reviewed your manifest, performed a quick safety check, and mapped out the day’s established route. Your truck is loaded with Dexter products headed to trusted customers who keep commercial trailers, RVs, heavy-duty fleets, marine, agricultural, and manufactured housing operations moving. By late morning, you’re collecting a signature here, a returned container there, and—when needed—processing a payment with a friendly word and a clear receipt. Before you pull back into the yard, you tidy up the cab, log your deliveries, and make sure everything is road‑ready for tomorrow.

That’s a day in the life of a delivery pro at Dexter—the market leader in axles, suspensions, brakes, doors, venting, trailer parts, accessories, and towing components.

What you’ll do

• Drive a company truck on a set route to deliver Dexter products.
• Collect customer payments when required and issue accurate receipts.
• Document transactions and obtain signatures for pickups and deliveries.
• Pick up empty containers or returned merchandise as directed.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Adhere to all federal regulations and company safety/vehicle policies.

What you bring

• License: Valid Class C non‑commercial driver’s license (or equivalent from another state).
• Experience: At least 6 months driving comparable equipment (no mileage requirement).
• Age: 25 or older.
• Medical: Able to obtain and maintain a valid medical certificate.
• Compliance: Meets federal/state licensing requirements.

Comparable equipment includes heavy‑duty pickups, walk‑in vans, city delivery trucks, box trucks, bucket trucks, and straight bed trucks with GVWR between 10,001 and 26,000 lbs. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
