SECURITY OFFICER

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Security Officer at GDIT. Here, you'll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Security Operations.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Security Officer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of a critical government customer. You will play a crucial role in providing general security oversight.
  • Provide multidiscipline security support across all classification levels in support of all elements of the [customer].
  • Disciplines include general security, industrial security, information security, personnel security, and physical security.
  • Assist with ensuring CPI, MCC, and MCF are protected at industry locations.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your security expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Security Officer must have:
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science. Must obtain SFPC/PSC Certification within one year of hire.
Experience: 3+ years of related experience, OR an associate's degree and 4 additional years of experience (7 total), OR 9 total years of relevant experience.
Technical skills: Knowledge of DODM 5205.07 required. The contractor shall have a working knowledge and experience in executing a multidisciplined security program.
Security clearance level: Top Secret/SAP experience desired
US citizenship required
Role requirements: willingness to work on site 5 days per week and travel occasionally. Security Fundamentals (SFPC)/Physical Security Certification (PSC) within one year of hire.

The likely salary range for this position is $73,965 - $93,035. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
