The hotel has 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. At Waldorf Astoria Park City, memorable events are delivered and expectations are surpassed. We provide a stunning setting for product launches and individually tailored programs to ensure that we strike the right balance between spectacular destination, glorious environment and world-class food and wine. Offering two state of the art boardrooms with the latest technology or events with up to 70 guests can reserve our Presidential Suite. Frostwood, located on the main lobby level, offers a unique space with natural lighting and a decor with dark wood tones and mohair walls. This space can accommodate groups up to 60, and is ideal for reception space and private dining. Events up to 200 guests may choose from our fully enclosed 4,000 square foot Pavilion; available June through September, that overlooks Snyderville Basin. And for a one-of-a-kind dining experience take advantage of our private dining space in Powder. In this role, you will be responsible for selling this luxury property, developing and soliciting new accounts to positively impact leisure segments, while maintaining relationships with current accounts. Travel outside of the office to meet with customers and prospective customers to develop business, make proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain contacts, conduct site inspections and close deals. Consistently meet with and entertain customers, conduct property tours, participate in tradeshows and industry and community events to promote facilities and services. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:Experience in Leisure Sales within a luxury hotel.
Seasoned Sales experience in a hotel or resort environment.
College Degree preferred, high school or equivalent education required
Requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader; there is minimal direct supervision.
Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints independently.
Ability to establish and master goals.
Ability to identify and develop accounts.
Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting programs, Microsoft Word, Excel and Delphi/FDC

As a Leisure Sales Manager , you would be responsible for representing the hotels services and facilities to prospective clients and customers in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.
Initiate new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients
Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
Conduct property site visits and answer questions
Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost business for the hotel(s).
Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts
