HVAC INSTALLER

Thermal Solutions | Youngsville, NC (Serving Raleigh, Wake Forest, Triangle Area)

Pay: $25–$32/hour

What You’ll Do

System Installation

• Install residential HVAC systems including:
  • Split systems (gas furnaces and heat pumps)
  • Gas packs and package heat pumps
  • Mini-split systems (ducted and ductless)
  • Ductwork systems and modifications
• Follow installation processes to ensure systems are installed correctly and safely
• Verify system operation after install completion

Install Execution & Quality

• Maintain clean, organized job sites
• Ensure installs meet company standards for quality and appearance
• Work efficiently without sacrificing workmanship

Team Leadership (On Job Sites)

• Help keep install helpers on task and moving efficiently
• Work closely with install lead to complete jobs on schedule
• Communicate clearly with team members throughout the job

Physical Work

• Work in attics and crawl spaces as required
• Lift and move equipment safely as part of a team

Flexibility

• Assist with different types of install and project work as needed
• Occasional crossover into other work may occur based on workload

What We Expect (Day 1)

• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience (preferred)
• Ability to complete all major portions of an install with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of system installation best practices
• Ability to follow structured processes and instructions
• Team-first mindset with willingness to support others on the job
• Attention to detail and pride in finished work

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of residential HVAC install experience
• Ability to work in attics and crawl spaces
• Ability to lift and move equipment safely as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Basic hand tools
• Willingness to follow company processes and install standards

Preferred (Not Required)

• EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Sheet metal fabrication experience
• Experience installing a variety of system types (split, package, mini-split)

• Entry-level helpers with limited install experience
• Installers who rush jobs and cut corners
• Individuals who struggle working as part of a team
• Anyone unwilling to follow defined install processes
