** Apartment Property Manager **
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Apartment Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction, ensuring the property is in excellent condition, and optimizing all property management processes. This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
** Responsibilities: **
- Manage, coordinate, and facilitate all aspects of property management, including leasing, resident relations, maintenance, and financial operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively market vacant units and maintain occupancy rates.
- Enforce lease agreements, address tenant concerns, and handle tenant inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it meets safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met by analyzing and reporting on expense variances.
- Hire, train, and supervise on-site staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes high performance and customer service excellence.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities, working with vendors and contractors as necessary to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Keep abreast of market trends, legal requirements, and best practices in property management to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
** Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in property management or a related field, with strong knowledge of property management best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to develop positive working relationships with tenants, vendors, and staff.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). YARDI, MRI
- Knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and fair housing regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
